My name is Lea Menzi. I’m a third-generation artist from Winterthur, Switzerland. I delight in transforming fine yarns into intricate patterns and wearable fashion.
I started knitting when I was 5 years old. The amazing women in my family (my grandmother and my mother) passed down their knitting techniques and instilled in me the attention to detail that is essential to crafting fine clothing. They also taught me how much fun knitting can be and how knitting with others can create lifelong friendships.
Inspired by European fashion, I learned to knit sleek sweaters, beautiful wraps and even dresses. I enjoy knitting statement pieces that showcase the personality of the wearer.
